Privacy, Terms of Use, Disclaimer

At Advanced Sheetmetal Associates, LLC, doing business as Advanced Sheetmetal & Mechanical ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website tinknockerct.com.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, project details form, or one of our landing page forms, we collect what you type in: your name, company, email, phone number, and details about your project or service need (facility type, systems involved, size, timeline, and your message). If you're reaching out about a job, we may also collect the role you're interested in, your license, and your years of experience.
Information collected automatically. Through Google Analytics, we collect the pages you visit, your browser and device type, your approximate location, and the site that referred you to us.
Ad and campaign information. If you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we store the Google Ads click ID (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid), the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), the first page you landed on, and the referring site. This stays in your browser's session storage for that visit and is saved with your request if you submit a form, so we know which ads and campaigns actually produce inquiries.
Spam prevention. When you submit a form, we use your IP address to limit repeated submissions. We store only a one-way (hashed) version of it, never the IP address itself, and we use it only for this purpose. We also use a hidden form field and a timing check to filter out automated submissions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and requests
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and service visits
- Review job applicants
- Measure which pages, ads, and campaigns lead to inquiries
- Protect the site from spam and abuse
- Improve the website
We may follow up with you about your request. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your permission.
3. Service Providers We Share It With
We share information only with the providers we need to run the website and handle your request. We never sell it.
- Website host and database: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase, with hosting on Cloudflare) stores form submissions.
- Email delivery: Resend sends form notifications to our team.
- Google: Google Analytics and Google Ads for measurement.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
5. Google Services
We use Google tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google may collect data via cookies or similar technologies. You can learn how Google uses your data at policies.google.com. To opt out of Google Analytics, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. Data Retention
We keep form submissions as long as needed to respond to you, manage projects and customer relationships, and meet legal and business recordkeeping needs, and then we delete them. The hashed spam-prevention records described above are kept only briefly and are deleted within 24 hours.
7. Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. Form submissions are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including outbound links such as LinkedIn and our Indeed job posting. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and your activity there is governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop using it for analytics or advertising measurement, by contacting us using the information below. Connecticut residents may have additional rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising; we will respond to requests within the time the law requires.
Children's privacy: we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
